Crab Cakes
Crab cakes and customer service was great!
Grilled Lamb Chops Balsamic
I had heard great things about City View, especially the atmosphere and that the patrons (men) were mature and that the vibe was grown and sexy, yet fun. My girl had been pushing for me to come watch Sunday football with her, and finally, in January, I did. It was just as she described, a real grown folks Vibe without all of the rah rah, that I detest these days. But what I loved most was the FOOD! OMG! I no longer drink alcohol; food is what is most important to me. I have my old hangout spot that I go to for games that I THOUGHT had the best food, especially lamb chops. But bayyyyybeeee.....City View chops were absolutely amazing. They were grilled to perfection, and the glaze on them was top-tier. But not only were the chops great, but the mac and cheese and the collard greens broke me all the way down. Everyone wants to add collard greens and mac and cheese to the menu, but then wants to pull it out of the can or use the processed cheese off the bottom shelf in Walmart and Kroger. Oh no, this Mac N Cheese was on another level, and the collards didn't come out of anyone's can. Somebody's grandma was back there, standing at the sink picking the leaves off those greens while the seasoned meat was boiling in the broth on the stove. Because of this - guess where I reserved a table at for the Super Bowl? Yep, and I am going just as much for the food, if not more, than for the game cause hell, my team is not playing. Truth be told, I no longer even live downtown anymore, but all the way in Decatur, and I will be setting I-20 ablaze on Feb 8th if for no other reason than to eat. Oh, well to look at the masculine chocolate surrounding me as well. LOL. Byeeeeeee!
Classic Caesar Salad
The salad was fresh, the chicken was seasoned just right, the croutons was fresh.
Lobster Pasta
This was the best Alfredo pasta I have ever had. Better than the Italian restaurants I have been to! It was incredible and the lobster was so good. This is my #1 favorite now.
Jerk Chicken Pasta
This was so delicious! All the food there is good but this pasta was made to perfection. 10/10 would recommend and get it again!
Wings w/ Fries
Cityview Bar in Austell is seriously underrated, especially if you're a wings person. The wings are ALWAYS on point, crispy, fresh, and sauced perfectly. The medium, lemon pepper, and teriyaki flavors all hit the spot, but the lemon pepper is a must if you like that classic flavor with the perfect kick. And let's talk about the fries… they're honestly just as good as the wings. Hot, crispy, seasoned right, and they pair perfectly with any wing flavor. If you're looking for a chill spot with great food, Cityview Bar is 100% worth it. I'll definitely be back!
Jerk Chicken Pasta
The best! seasoned to perfection you taste the jerk!
Salmon Pasta
The spices were incredible and everything was so good. They know how to cook! I have found a hidden gem and this place is fire! I want to try everything on the menu!
Crab Cakes
OMG!!!!! The crab cakes were off the chain. They taste almost like back home Baltimore crabs. The waitress was extremely helpful and assured my crab cakes were to my satisfaction. Exceptional service. Will recommend to others, especially sports fan. You can't go wrong.
Wings w/ Fries
The thai chili flavored wings are very delicious. I order them every time i visit cityview. And the service is awesome.
